Dende Nation, winners of the Notting Hill Carnival 2025 Brazilian Bands Category, invite audiences to a special pre-carnival celebration before taking to the streets for the main event. The night features powerful rhythms, uplifting voices, and a carnival atmosphere centered around the theme of Ijó Ìdílé – Rooted & Rising. Joining the celebration is special guest Marivaldo Paim, Musical Director of Ilê Aiyê, the pioneering Afro-Brazilian cultural organisation from Salvador, Bahia. Also performing is the Reggae Choir, an exciting contemporary ensemble that brings an infectious energy and a full live set of reggae classics and contemporary favourites to the stage.
