Everyone needs a humbling experience in life 🥹💗Life is beautiful once you get you head out of your ass and start looking around you. Nothing good comes of holding grudges or carrying hate around as there's nothing more beautiful than seeking forgiveness and being accountable for your mistakes. It doesn't just end with seeking forgiveness, it's only complete when you actually start making the changes you apologised for. I love movies that actually show how toxic masculinity destroys men and the people around them. The day you let go of your pride would be the day when you'll start living for once. There's no joy in mocking people for something they like, we actually might be killing a part of them for our monetary fun. Showed me a great deal of emotions and how fragile our lives is, let people be.The last time I cried was for Dorothy, and now this. It's not like I hate "feel good" movies. I just find a lot of them superficial and manipulative at times with all these scores and overacting preachy do goodness that comes with it. But baththa is different, the world is lived in and everything is grey for that matter. The emotions are not preachy and neither are the writing or the presentation of inherent goodness in people.Need more of this as it took me back to the peak vjs movie era from 2012 to 2016. Emotions are nothing but beautiful when it's subtle and internalised, yet deep and humane.P.S: Let characters narrate, capture their performance rather than visualising what they say with Ai. All of us are capable enough to visualise it in our heads :)
