Ghidorah is the scariest guy I've ever seen in my life
lives rebuilt from the rubble, an attempt to climb back to the surface while the devastation of what has been lost remains. Interweaves flashbacks in such a remarkable way: alternating between myth and real-world - there’s one scene in particular that is just so striking. The rare case of both bigger and better. I couldn't breathe during so many of its most thunderous moments; the destruction between Ghidorah and Godzilla is truly otherworldly. I had tears in my eyes during the entire final act. The quickest 135 minutes of all time.
Feel like I’m on another planet rn
Set two years after the events of its predecessor, the film follows a recovering post-war Japan as a terrifying new monstrous threat disrupts humanity's fragile peace.
It was directed by Japanese filmmaker Takashi Yamazaki in 2026, continuing his acclaimed work in the franchise.
The film earned widespread recognition, including multiple Japan Academy Prizes for its screenplay and visual effects.
