if i go… will he miss me?yearning is so often attributed to romance and yet not highlighted enough in the relationship between children and parents, nay, boys and their fathers.how does a child know they are loved? is it having a roof over their head? is it being fed? some would say yeshowever i think (like walter may) that true love is having a stick figure drawing displayed proudly on the fridge, and giving a wide runway for a child’s love to take flight.
