It is fascinating how the camera sexualizes the band members through low-angle framing to emphasize Robert Plant's tight jeans, which do not leave much to the imagination. They're essentially offering themselves up to be sold as sexual objects through the images of delicate orange lighting bouncing off of Robert Plant's exposed pelvic bone or Jimmy Page's open blouse. In addition to sexualizing the members of Led Zeppelin the camera also insists their power & sheer titanic force. We're always looking up, as if to heaven. There is an eternal quality to their stature & the total awesome force behind their musicianship & sonic amplification. There are few bands who can contest with the power of Led Zeppelin. This would not be achieved in the movie without these same low-angle shots. These images achieve the double quality of creating rock gods through sex & music. The fundamentals of rock and roll as told through cinema. The tacked on narrative digressions are the only thing that disrupts that wholly accomplished beautiful idea.
