a silly neo-noir/sci-fi mashup that Brad Bird has obviously been working towards his entire career. brimming with so many reflections on the grimness of our world today - ai, the sharp decline in personal autonomy, the unchecked power of corporate elites. heart on sleeve type stuff, and although occasionally muddled with its parables, it’s a great time. Thoroughly enjoyed.
