Sarah Silverman hosts the first episode of Rubberhead - a night of comedy shorts featuring some of her favorite performers. With comedy from Nathan Barnatt, Jade Catta-Preta, Michael Cassidy, Shelby Fero, Nathan Fielder, David Dineen-Porter, Kyle Dunnigan, Brett Gelman, Todd Glass, Lauren Lapkus, Natasha Leggero, Emily Maya Mills, Tig Notaro, John C Reilly, Seth Rogen, Nick Rutherford, Rob Schrab, Paul Rust, Laura Silverman, Stoney Sharp, Armen Weitzman, Kulap Vilaysack, Eric Wareheim, Harris Wittels, Charlyne Yi and more!
I finally managed to find this - will be reuploading soon, as this is not available for purchase or streaming ANYWHERE(Edit: www.youtube.com/watch?v=_QBI_JcX9A8archive.org/details/jash-presents-rubberhead-hd )Some of the segments were pretty good (Nathan Fielder, Lo Mutuc, Key & Peele) but the format as a whole doesn't work that well. Most of the sketches are no higher quality than what you could find on YouTube at the time, if not worse. It seems like they wanted this to be a regular series but I'm not sure how sustainable that would've been and it looks like the execs agreed. The main episode is 30 minutes and the rest are deleted scenes which they probably could've saved for future episodes were there any planned. But then why did they advertise it as the first episode of a series? In my opinion, this is really only worth watching if you're a completionist regarding a particular actor's filmography. And if that actor happens to be Seth Rogen (like it was for me), you're probably fine to just watch the Cops, Cum, Dicks and Flying segment on YouTube and skip the rest of this.
