Relief from the rectangle
A really unique film, in that not only is it presented in a pinhole camera format throughout, and the filming, the script and the direct address work together to give a strong sense of connection to these characters in a really intimate way. It’s beautifully performed by all, with some great moments of (much needed!) levity and reminds us to bear in mind exactly who is creating the media we are consuming and what their ulterior motives might be.Really enjoyed!
This film was absolutely brilliant. Experimental, new, brilliantly acted - I will be thinking about this film for days.
