When ten-year-old Lewis is suddenly orphaned, he is sent to live with his Uncle Jonathan in a creaky (and creepy) old mansion with a mysterious ticking noise that emanates from the walls. Eli did a good job at capturing that Amblin feel of yesteryear. It's a film for kids so a little tough for me to judge. The kids in the audience seemed to be digging it. Really liked the killer Jack-o'-Lanterns. Screened at the DGA West.
