Alonette

Alonette negotiates the existentialism of wasted days like an idyllic role-playing game in a child's imagination. The Estonian singer-songwriter’s folk-pop goes hand in hand with vocal harmonies in homage to the sound of the seventies, and yet the surprising twists and turns of her songs sound unagitatedly experimental, adventurous, even downright modern. In March 2025, Alonette released her debut album “Compass”, praised for its maturity, rich sonority and the ability to balance vulnerability with wit. The album received 3 nominations at the Estonian Music Awards. Alongside Alonette, “Compass” features Estonian musicians Erki Pärnoja (guitars), Marti Tärn (bass), Raun Juurikas (keys), Martin Petermann (drums) and a string quartet. On stage, Alonette has captivated audiences at Reeperbahn Festival, BUSH in Budapest, Riga Music Week, and Estonia’s Jazzkaar and Tallinn Music Week, among others, marking her as one of Estonia’s most intriguing new voices. Alonette's new song "Uneasy" featuring Anna Kaneelina will be released on March 18.
