Singer and percussionist Livia Giaffreda grew up in southeastern Italy, learning traditional singing and percussion at folk festivals. She dedicated herself to world music, honing her craft with artists across Europe to create an eclectic, constantly evolving repertoire. On stage, Lívia performs with a single voice and frame drums, taking audiences on a journey into intimate soundscapes. Inspired by fado, Italian and Spanish folk songs, and Latin American melodies, she weaves world music into a sonic map of her own universe.
