A concert cycle with Sir András Schiff around the turn of the year has almost become a tradition at the Pierre Boulez Saal. In addition to a solo evening featuring works by Johann Sebastian Bach, this edition focuses on chamber music. Schiff will be joined by close musical friends to perform in two different trio programs and vocal evenings featuring music by Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann, Brahms, Bartók, and others. A particular highlight is his performance with young pianists whose artistic development he supports through his "Building Bridges" mentoring project.
