The Orchestre de chambre de Paris performs Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante and a new Ehwa Hong work at Théâtre des Champs-Élysées. Tickets on Mood.
The Orchestre de chambre de Paris celebrates contemporary women composers through the work of South Korean composer Ehwa Hong. The program features Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante for winds, a work still surrounded by mystery more than 250 years after its conception, performed here in Robert Levin's reconstructed version with flute. Stravinsky's Danses concertantes rounds out the evening, a neoclassical work where every section of the orchestra engages in playful, identity-rich solos. Between these two landmarks, Ehwa Hong’s new commission explores cultural mirror games—otherness, influence, and complementarity across continents.
This event is hosted at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, located at 15 Av. Montaigne in Paris.
The program features the Orchestre de chambre de Paris conducted by Diego Ceretta.
