Formed in the mid-80s and inspired by electronic music and early hip-hop, Stereo MC's built their reputation through relentless touring and festival appearances. Their breakthrough 1992 third album, "Connected", achieved worldwide success with its iconic title track. In 2015, returning to their dance music roots, they launched the Connected label, focusing on afro house, deep house, and techno. Rob Birch and Nick Hallam continue to tour as a live act and release music while maintaining a passion for DJing.
