An award-winning steelpan musician, Marlon Hibbert is the first graduate of the Guildhall School of Music to play the steelpan. Stepping forward as an artist in his own right, his music draws inspiration from Victor Provost, Andy Narell, and Stevie Wonder. Blending jazz, calypso, and modern fusion, his emotive compositions explore his ancestry as a Black British musician. Hibbert is recognised as a leading voice in contemporary steelpan performance and has performed at major festivals and venues including Love Supreme, Jazz Cafe, and the Royal Albert Hall.
