A nostalgic classical night.
Alexandre Tharaud joins the Arod Quartet and Canadian violinist Kerson Leong for a performance of chamber works by four major composers. The programme opens with Beethoven's String Quartet No. 4, followed by French masterpieces including Debussy's Violin Sonata and Ravel's virtuosic Tzigane. The evening concludes with César Franck's monumental Piano Quintet, a dramatic and expressive work that Debussy famously praised as 'real music'.
