3SOME

3SOME is a fusion trio formed by Davide Rasetti (keys), Daan Arets (drums) and Gianluca Calò (bass). The three musicians met in the music scene of Rotterdam in the summer of 2022. They quickly noticed their musical connection and just a few months later, they managed to record their first album, "TO GO UP", under the name of the Davide Rasetti TRIO. The album was released during their ‘Italy tour’ in September 2023. During this tour, the trio participated in a two-week artistic residency, an experience that completely changed the direction of the band. Privileged to dedicate eight hours a day to the project for two consecutive weeks, the three musicians discovered a new, previoulsy unexplored creative vein. This period of intensive collaboration led to the collective writing of new songs, giving rise to a completely new and distinctive musical language, representing of the trio's unique identity. The diversity of musical influences and greater interplay between the three artists inspired a bold decision: changing the name from Davide Rasetti TRIO to 3SOME. This new name underlines the essence of their music; a sonic creature that is born only through communion and intense collaboration between the three artists. 3SOME offers a type of music that transcends the boundaries of genres. It is a fusion that is built on the meeting of individual influences, creating a unique and engaging musical experience that flows into progressive jazz with influences from funk to world music.
