Konradsen
Konradsen is the Norwegian duo of Jenny Marie Sabel and Eirik Vildgren, collaborators since meeting in high school. Their music is intimate and observant - romantic, tender, and quietly wry - often shaped by small human details like half-heard conversations and flickers of memory. Their debut album Saints and Sebastian Stories won a Norwegian Grammy and drew praise from Pitchfork and The FADER for its emotional precision and storytelling. In 2021, Sabel and Vildgren left city life to return to the rural landscapes of northern Norway where they were raised, a move that shaped their second album, Michael’s Book on Bears. Described by Stereogum as “tender, soulful,” the record marked a deeper sense of place and perspective. Following its release, Konradsen toured across Europe with Angie McMahon, sold out Parkteatret in Oslo, headlined shows in London, and appeared at Pitchfork Paris. In November 2025, Konradsen shared the first single from their forthcoming third album Hunt, Gather, set for release on March 27. Featuring collaborations with Gia Margaret, Beharie and Angie McMahon, the album will be followed by a headline performance at Oslo’s highly acclaimed MUNCH in April.
