An underground indie folk artist.
Hello, I’m Valeria. If you are reading this, you're probably interested in finding out a bit more about me. So, let me tell you a few things about myself - in less than 1500 characters... I was born in a small city in Northern Italy called Pordenone, and that’s where my musical journey started. I began playing the violin as a little girl and then continued studying classical music at the Conservatoire in Venice. Music and life led me to the UK in 2011, and I’ve been calling London 'home' ever since. I’ve been lucky to perform with some wonderful artists: ESKA, Ny Oh, Neil Cowley Trio, Antonio Forcione, Josienne Clarke and Ben Walker, Tom Willow, Sam Garrett, Rhys Lewis, Sam Ryder, Ösp Eldjárn, Blood Harmony and others. These collaborations inspired me to dig deeper and delve into the world of songwriting. My music is influenced by many artists: Joni Mitchell, Jeff Buckley, Becca Stevens, Emilíana Torrini, Michelle Willis, Jono McCleery, Julia Biel to name a few. I spent most of 2021 producing my new 5-track EP 'Circles’ and I can’t wait to share it with you in May 2023! The EP features some amazing musicians: Tom Herbert, Yusuf Ahmed, (Qwalia), Joseph Costi (Bahla), Idris Rahman & Robin Hopcraft (Soothsayers). 'Cape St Vincent', the first single of my upcoming EP 'Circles', is out now. I hope it brings you something!
