An underground electronic artist.
Originally from Stockholm and now based in Barcelona, Swedish-Spanish DJ and producer Andrea Castells is emerging as an exciting new voice in electronic music. Her debut release — a remix of Taylor Bradford’s ‘Space Samba’ alongside Rivellino — marks the first step of a journey that brings her eclectic style from the DJ booth into the studio. Andrea’s sound takes listeners on a melodic trip full of groove, weaving between Indie Dance, Melodic House & Techno and Progressive House. She’s one of the founders of Valhalla Music, curating standout events at renowned clubs and festivals including Pacha, Brunch Electronik and Les Enfants, bringing acclaimed artists such as Jimi Jules, Adam Ten, Mahmut Orhan, Mita Gami, Lehar, Ivory (IT), Nandu, Kevin de Vries, Toto Chiavetta and many others. Her music has carried her to stages across Europe and beyond — from Cova Santa (Ibiza), Pacha Barcelona, Input, Lío Mallorca, and Birgit (Berlin) to Vagalume (Tulum) and other venues across South America. She’s also played at festivals like Brunch Electronik and Goat Community (Portugal), sharing lineups with legends including Dixon, Hernán Cattaneo, Sasha, John Digweed, WhoMadeWho, and many others. With her first official release out and more productions on the horizon, Andrea Castells is shaping a sound that reflects her dual roots, her years in the booth, and her evolving vision as a producer.
