Senne ‘Atex’ De Roo grew up in a musical family, picking up guitar and vocals at a young age. Over time, his love for sound evolved from instruments to bass-heavy electronic music, influenced by acts like The Prodigy, Netsky, The Bloody Beetroots, Justice, Pendulum, and The Subs. Everything changed when he heard his first dubstep track—a remix by 16Bit. Drawn into the energy of the genre, he dove headfirst into production with FL Studio and started DJing not long after. What began as a teenage obsession turned into a mission. Today, Atex is not only active behind the decks but also behind the scenes—as the founder of Space Invaderz, one of Europe’s most notorious underground dubstep events. He’s played on stages he once dreamed of, and he’s far from done.
