Tyke is a pioneering drum & bass producer credited as an originator of the foghorn sound — years before it evolved into a global sub-genre — earning recognition from Noisia as a “godfather” of the style. Breaking through on Grid Recordings with Buzzard, he went on to sign with DJ Hype & Pascal’s Playaz Recordings, becoming a Fabric resident and touring extensively across the US, Europe, Asia and South America. With a catalogue including Blessing, Mind Games and Lose Control, Tyke has built a reputation for a distinct, unconventional sound. Recent highlights include a 6-month Kiss Fresh playlist run, BBC placements and a commissioned original score. His Changes LP project — with all samplers hitting Top 3 on Beatport — marks a new chapter, pushing his sound forward while staying rooted in his signature style.
