Sacred Lodge is a side-project started by Matthieu Ruben in 2017, a parisian based sound artist also known as Coldgeist and part of NZE NZE. Drawing as well from ritual traditions, his Equatoguinean roots and South American popular music, he renews those codes with a noiseist approach by melting them in a modern sound, crossed by cinematic atmospheres. His work is focused on polyrhythm, mangled percussions and chanted cries, as an ode to the most primary trance.
