An underground skate punk act.
A Decade At Sea is a South Florida band born from the energy of punk rock, the heart of emo, and the spirit of DIY independence. Formed by four second-generation immigrants, the group channels a diverse background into music that is both raw and resonant, bridging the sounds of punk, indie, and everything in between. A sound that feels urgent yet timeless. Since their inception, A Decade At Sea has embraced a fiercely independent ethos, recording and producing their own music, designing artwork, and organizing their own shows. Friends and collaborators have helped expand their vision, contributing to visuals, mastering, and music videos that amplify the band’s message of passion and perseverance. After a period of silence, the group resurfaced in 2021 with their EP Rad!, a release that drew the attention of national acts such as Tiny Moving Parts, MAE, Winona Fighter, Bad Luck, World’s Greatest Dad, and a few Florida music festivals. In 2024, A Decade At Sea reignited their momentum with a new EP entitled Fuego and paired it with a collaboration with Gulf Stream Brewing Company on a limited-run craft Pale Ale named Florida PunX Pale Ale. With each fenite yet versatile release, A Decade At Sea continues to build a loyal following drawn to their honesty, energy, and unshakable dedication to the scene. This is a band that thrives on connection, turning personal stories into anthems and every stage into a rallying point for community. - Chat Gonzalez Peñuela Torres -
