Founded in 2018, A Ghost in Rags is an instrumental post-metal band. The quartet from Freiburg/Germany combines classic post-rock with powerful doom parts, black metal riffs and sludge elements. At their live performances, they take the audience into a wide-ranging musical spectrum, whereby the band knows how to break out of frequently used song structures and give the music space and time to unfold. A Ghost in Rags released their debut album "Akarano" in July 2022, followed by "Solfatara" in 2025.
