North London-born, Brazilian-British, Bristol-based artist AÆE makes “Percussive club slammers and Latin bass movers” that are helping to fuel the Brazilian-British connection. The inspiration behind AÆE’s musical heritage comes from his father & family from Brazil who live in Salvador, Bahia—delving into the different genres from the country including Samba & Bossa Nova to Baile Funk he aims to take you on a journey through the different styles and find a connection between that and the electronic dance music of the UK. With his SWU.FM residency and releases on labels such as More Time Records, RKS & XXIII his accolades go far and wide from warming up For CASISDEAD to playing multiple sets at Glastonbury Festival to DJs such as Ahadadream, Peggy Gou & Skream playing his music all around the world. Being part of Bristol-based multi-genre music brand ESO as well as one of the founders of Madruga festival, a boutique festival in Wales, AÆE has focused his career on sharing different musical cultures and genres through events and now sets out to explore his musical heritage through his music and shows.
