A polished, nostalgic aor artist.
In 2013, guitarist Carl Berglund decided to fulfill a musical dream: to write songs shaped at their very core by the '80s rock giants. Songs with emotional harmonies reminiscent of pure British AOR, combined with the power of American hard rock, and sprinkled with hooks from the new era of Swedish melodic rock. The band signed a deal with AOR Heaven for the release of their first album in 2017 - "In the Heat of the Night". It was produced by AGE OF REFLECTION, with mixing and mastering by Erik Mårtensson of Mass Destruction Production (Eclipse, WET). Their second album, "A New Dawn", was released in 2019, once again featuring Erik Mårtensson's expert touch. In August 2022, AGE OF REFLECTION came to an end. Carl, together with Peter (Guitar) and Mikael (Bass), formed NATIONWIDE, a band aiming to bridge the gap between classic AOR and modern rock, bringing something new to the melodic rock scene.
