AJ Christou

Manchester-born DJ and producer AJ has carved a distinct path in the electronic music scene with his dynamic blend of house, minimal, and techno. Starting his career at 17 with a residency at the iconic Sankeys nightclub in Manchester, he quickly gained attention for his skillful DJ sets, blending crisp tech house with percussive flair and New York-inspired swing. His Greek heritage and passion for music collection inform his eclectic, groove-driven sound, which has earned support from industry heavyweights like Damian Lazarus, Jamie Jones, Marco Carola, and The Martinez Brothers. In 2013, AJ relocated to New York to hone his production skills, signing to Cuttin’ Headz with the club hit What You Think EP, followed by releases including a remix for The Martinez Brothers. In 2015, he founded Celesta Recordings, later launching V-House Sound, while his music on labels like Hot Creations, Crosstown Rebels, and Paradise reflects his mature sound. Known for his meticulous studio work and unpredictable sets, AJ continues to push creative boundaries, performing at top Ibiza venues like UNVRS, Hï, and Ushuaïa, while developing exciting new projects and collaborations.
