Deana Kiner is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and songwriter who is looking for a place to exist simply. She has written music alongside a wide array of artists such as Gustavo Santaolalla, Clint Mansell, Sarah Tudzin, NoSo, Mal Not Bad, Sean and Kevin Kiner. With a diverse palette and creative approach that can feel scattered, Kiner’s perspective and her love of the most human aspects of music remains at the center of her work. The breath of the being. The movement of the body. The struggle to create and hope for connection. Her music is constantly shifting; it is one thing when created, and something new in the next moment. Her music changes in the way that a thought can evolve over time, its meaning transforming from one context to the next. It is not something that is meant to be settled, stable, or perfect.
