Albert Bover is a jazz pianist from Barcelona, Spain, now living in Paris. He has studied classical piano in Barcelona, and in New York with Sophia Rosoff. He has studied jazz with Fred Hersch, Barry Harris, Sal Mosca and Jaki Byard. He has been playing as a sideman as a professional since 1986 with Al Foster, Art Farmer, Harold Land, Kenny Wheeler, Seamus Blake, Jeff Williams, Philippe Soirat, Arturo Stable, Mark Turner, Eddie Henderson, Sonny Fortune, Jesse Davis, Rick Margitza, Marc Johnson, Jeff Ballard, Guy Lafitte, Ed Thigpen, Oliver Jackson, Ralph Moore, Roy Hargrove, Idris Muhammad, Julian Arguelles y Scott Hamilton. He has played also with spanish musicians like Jorge Pardo, Perico Sambeat, Chano Dominguez, Javier Colina, Marco Mezquida, Albert Sanz, Giulia Valle and Guillermo Mcgill. He has participated in projects with flamenco musicians like Miguel Poveda and Chicuelo.
