Ali Pervez Mehdi

Ali Pervez Mehdi, the son of the late Ustaad Pervez Mehdi and a renowned Pakistani artist, is a soulful singer who received a strong foundation in classical music under the guidance of his father and grandfather, Bashir Hussain Rahi. He started his journey in music at a young age of 16, performing as a singer, composer, and lyricist, and has since traveled the world, collaborating with esteemed composers such as AR Rehman and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, and notable singers including Hari Haran, Sukhwinder Singh, Sadna Sargam, Chitra, Atif Aslam, Indian Ocean, Rekha Bhardwaj, Mika Singh, Meesha Shafi, Rohail Hayat, Daler Mehndi, and many others. 
 Although Ali's performances have mostly taken place in the West, his fan base in the Sub-Continent expanded significantly after his rendition of the song "Chadha De Rang" from the Bollywood blockbuster, "Yamla Pagla Deewana". Ali's music, produced by his company Bossmenn, incorporates a Western influence that features 80s style synths and a dark, lounge-jazzy vibe. Recently, Ali has been collaborating with the ethereal singer Mei-lan Maurits in creating healing music. He has also opened for the popular American singer Erykah Badu and hopes to work with his dream band, Zero 7, in the future. 
 Ali's ultimate goal is to reach millions of people with his music and connect with them emotionally through his soulful melodies.
