A high-energy, polished eurodance act.
Back in 1999, in a former Second World War bunker within earshot of Amsterdam, a group of young Dutch DJs and fresh talent - including Pronti & Kalmani, DJ Jurgen, Svenson & Gielen, and studio vocalists Gaby & Jane - were brought together under the direction of hit-making masterminds Danski & Delmundo to create Alice Deejay. Their debut album, Who Needs Guitars Anyway? - brilliantly titled and a playful wink to the guitar-loving mainstream - delivered five international hits, went multi-platinum, and dominated charts across Europe, Australia and the U.S. Lead single "Better Off Alone" became a global dance anthem. Its clean mix, intelligent production and bittersweet energy have kept it fresh for new generations. Besides the original version, countless remixes, samples, and festival reworks still ignite clubs, festivals, and playlists worldwide. Follow-ups like "Back In My Life", "Will I Ever", and "The Lonely One" cemented their place in Eurodance history. Today, Alice Deejay are touring the world, filling more and more festival fields and arenas, and turning every show into a timeless and unifying celebration. Because whether it’s then or now, we’re all better off dancing together.
Alice Deejay plays eurodance, europop - high-energy and polished, rooted in tradition rather than chasing trends.
Alice Deejay's live sets are tight and high-energy - technically precise with real physical intensity.
Alice Deejay is a 7-piece group: Judith Anna Pronk, Pronti & Kalmani, DJ Jurgen, Svenson & Gielen, Gaby, Jane, Ilona.
Alice Deejay plays Palladium Times Square in New York City on Friday 16 October. There are 2 Alice Deejay shows currently listed on Mood.
