Amanaz was a pioneering Zamrock band formed in Kitwe, Zambia, in 1973. Their sound is a potent blend of psychedelic rock, heavily influenced by Jimi Hendrix and infused with traditional Zambian rhythms and vocals. The band's sole album, 'Africa', released in 1975, is celebrated for its raw energy and distinctive fuzz guitar work.
