Amputated

One of the OG Gore/Brutal Death Metal bands of the UKDM scene, bludgeoning crowds across the UK and Europe since 2002. First active until 2015, Amputated released 3 albums -Gargling with Infected Semen (2006), Wading Through Rancid Offal(2009) and, after many line-up changes, Dissect, Molest, Ingest (2014), as well as a split CD in 2003- Up to Our Nuts in Guts. This was supplemented with 2 live DVD self-releases, including the Witness the Shitness – A Decade of Dickery, to coincide with the bands 10-year anniversary. Amputated toured with the likes of Gorerotted (UK, RIP), Deranged (SWE, RIP), Disgorge (Mex) and would play festivals such as Damnation Fest, Obscene Extreme Festival, Fuck the Commerce, Death Feast and Mountains of Death. The band also supported some of the most seminal names in Death Metal circles – Deicide,Suffocation, Decapitated,Cannibal Corpse,Immolation, and Necrophagia, to name a few, whilst also being regular headliners themselves. After much barracking from fans, the ‘classic’ line-up was reformed in 2022 to play a couple of headline shows in the UK. These gigs demonstrated to the band, that not only were the old fans still clamouring for more, but also that there was a tranche of new, younger fans that were discovering the band. These gigs would lead into UK and European tours supporting Kraanium. 2025 will see the band continue to write, record and release a new, long-awaited album.
