An underground, nostalgic folk artist.
Anna Bosnick grew up in Port Townsend, WA, home of the Centrum Fiddletunes Festival, a world class folk music festival that she got to attend with her mother, Kristin Smith, a local violin and fiddle teacher who still teaches the kids track. Anna was part of the family band, Homemade Music, and started taking on her own fiddle students in her teens. She got her BFA from Adelphi University after a move to the New York area. As a composer and arranger she creates music for podcasts, plays, short films, and events. Besides writing her own music, she gigs and sessions around the NYC and Northern Hudson river area, teaches ukulele and fiddle, and co-runs the first ever Quebecois jam in the NYC session scene. Anna currently plays in the bands Bosnick & Bittel, Rhythmic Heart, French Toast, Flying Circus, and many others. She’s recorded two albums of her original music, “The Ring” in 2017, and “Fable” in 2025. You can find her for on all the streaming platforms.
Anna Bosnick plays traditional Celtic and American folk music centered around intricate fiddle arrangements and acoustic instrumentation.
