Anna Vs June is the solo project of Anna Papaioannou, a musician and producer who enjoys playing with machines in her room in the heart of Athens. Her sound aims to capture the balance between electronic and traditional music by incorporating Eastern and Western music references. For her music production, she travelled to remote rural villages and recorded songs by locals while practising microtonal gestures with her own voice. Her latest album Ersi was released in 2023 on the Swiss label Subject To Restrictions Discs, and she has been featured on compilations by labels such as Invisible Inc, Osàre!
