Anthony Presti

Bay Area Singer/Songwriter, Anthony Presti, grew up in Seattle during a thriving grunge scene. In his teens, he moved to Northern California, where a punk scene was on the rise. He played in a hardcore band for over ten years and when they broke up he found himself playing more acoustic guitar. He moved to San Francisco and a solo career started to blossom. Presti’s vagabond life is evident in his music. He flirts with multiple genres tied together by thoughtful lyrics and catchy hooks and draws inspiration from the places he's lived and traveled. He has a wide range of influences from Tom Petty to Stick Figure to Nirvana to Ottis Redding and beyond. He’s incorporated a looping style blending acoustic guitar with electric guitar and bass, developing into a captivating one man band. Presti has opened for Grammy nominated singer Gretchen Peters and national acts like The Deer and Little Tybee. He’s played several west coast tours and headlined Santa Rosa’s Live at Julliard Park Festival Series. He’s also released three studio albums including, Different Places, recorded at San Francisco’s legendary Hyde Street Studios (Green Day, Train, Grateful Dead, Cake). Presti is writing new music and releasing a holiday single, “Merry Christmas, Baby,” on December 1st, 2024. His newest single "Simple Things" with Blue Radio will be released June 27th, 2025 and is anticipating the release of a new EP titled Lemon Moon later this year.
