Aphotic Sky

Aphotic Sky are a 5-piece metalcore band based in Preston. Their riffs bring back the early 2000's metalcore style with a twist of modern licks and sounds to bring out a new blend of sound. Hard-hitting heavy metal drum beats and complex solos give the audience a little excitement and new feel. The band was formed late October 2024 and the current lineup confirmed August 2025. The music itself is heavily based on talking about mental health and focus on personal experiences, storytelling and support for those around the world who need help. The music provides a mix of influential vibes from bands like Killswitch Engage, As I Lay Dying, Dead by April, Trivium, In Flames and more. Lyrically Dan Myers provides the dark and powerful atmosphere into the real world and its problems. The band aspire to create a journey to help as many people around the world as possible and provide the light at the end of the tunnel not just with their music, but with their storytelling.
