But everyone will dance. HISTORY Congo, 1960: The South Kasaï region declares secession. Its constitution contains only 14 articles. The state is overwhelmed, and thousands of civilians are massacred. From this disaster emerges an expression that enters common parlance: “Article 15.” In other words: make do. Paris, 2024: Performer Wilfried Luzele (Lova Lova) teams up with GriGri, a mysterious persona concealing electronic producer Encore Théo (Gargäntua). Two sorcerers, one spell: the raw energy of Kinshasa’s streets delivered with unrelenting ferocity, echoing the political violence that inspired the duo’s name. Lingala and French intertwine in a voice both powerful and roughened by hard truths. Could they have wished for better allies than the grimacing synthesizers of Gargäntua's dark mage to set the dancefloor ablaze?
