ASTRAVERA (also known as Dante Rodriguez) is an alternative rock artist based in the humble town of Carmine, Texas. During his childhood years, Dante had garnered the passion for music ever since he picked up his first acoustic guitar at the age of 12. Not long after, he picked up the pursuit in songwriting. For almost 8 years, Dante had written dozens of songs until his first single “5th Avenue” reached streaming platforms in the fall of 2022. Around the same period, Dante had to undergo an artist name change since his previous name (Deadboy) was already widely taken. The name “ASTRAVERA” was eventually made, deriving from the meanings in Latin of “Star” and “truth”. As of now, ASTRAVERA had released a recent single titled “Revolution” to all streaming platforms!
