An underground tech house artist.
AVLS is the house-driven alter ego of Mexican producer Gilberto Avalos, also known for his psytrance project Agnostic. While Agnostic explores fast, psychedelic and high-BPM sonic landscapes, AVLS shifts the focus to groove, attitude, and club energy—without losing the raw intensity that defines his sound. Based in Mexico, Gilberto has spent years building his ear across different electronic scenes, moving from underground psytrance environments into more urban and groove-oriented spaces. This duality is what shapes AVLS: a project that sits between hypnotic repetition and street-inspired rhythm. His sound blends tech house, minimal grooves, and subtle hip-hop influence—designed for late-night sets, intimate venues, and systems where the bass hits first and explanations come later. Beyond the studio, Gilberto is also the founder of Indiefy, a global music distribution platform supporting independent artists in over 150 countries. That perspective—from both the creative and business side of music—gives AVLS a clear direction: music that connects, moves, and holds its ground in a saturated industry. AVLS isn’t about trends. It’s about control, groove, and identity.
