Lithuanian band ba. and their frontman Benas Aleksandravičius, the singer, songwriter and driving force behind this band (it's named after his initials, if you haven't guessed already) is one of those jaw-dropping success stories – he broke through in 2013, a couple of months later he was getting hundreds of thousands of YouTube views – all at tender age of 16 and without any record label backing or conventional promotion. Somehow this indie rock singer managed to capture the hearts and minds of the young internet generation. Anthemic indie of debut EP Raktas (The Key, 2013) followed by harsher, grunge-y guitar sound of full-length album Rasti/Pasiklysti (To Find/To Get Lost, 2015). Saulėsužtemimas (Solar Eclipse) EP released in 2016, Garsiai Mąstau (Thinking Out Loud) EP in 2017 and in 2019 band presented their second full-length album H8. 2022 ba. goes international with a whole bunch of announcements: new music, an album out in autumn, a concert of the decade and they’ve just signed with Sony Music Entertainment.
