Backstabbed, often referred to as "Germany's Heaviest Boygroup," is an innovative hardcore band that formed in 2018 in Offenburg, South Germany. Known for their genre-defying approach, they have developed their own subgenre, which they call "Boundaries Breakin' Hardcore." This style blends hardcore with various musical influences like funk, punk, and rap, showcasing their versatility and refusal to be confined to a single sound. Musically diverse, Backstabbed's lyrics address a wide range of topics, from mental health struggles to societal and environmental issues, as well as their firm stance against homophobia, fascism and any other form of racism, with a clear rejection of such ideologies in their music and their public persona. Their songs serve as a call for greater tolerance, diversity, and respectful interaction. Over the years, Backstabbed has made a name for itself in the German and European hardcore scene, sharing the stage with key players in hardcore such as Stick to Your Guns, Landmvrks, and Terror. With the release of an album, three EPs, numerous singles, and music videos, they have firmly established themselves in the scene.
