BAKER SEATS are from Kiel and, judging by their personnel — featuring members of ESCAPADO, GRAND GRIFFON and THE CREETINS, among others — could easily pass as a hardcore punk supergroup. But that’s not what they’re interested in. Instead, they released Pharisees in 2021, an album that Ingo Scheel (ByteFM, Visions and many more) described as: “Lightly melancholic 90s CollegeCore with an incredible feel for melodies, arrangements and tension, and an opener that I have to listen to over and over and over again […] best to check it out for yourself…” Their second album will be released in fall 2026 on Not Sorry Records.
