Banda Arkangel hails from the Nayarit section of Mexico, and was formed by bassist/vocalist José de Jesús Navarro, guitarist Héctor Espinosa, drummer Antonio Aranda, vocalist Juan Carlos Delgadilio, keyboard player José Valentín and trumpeters Hilario Ortega, Antonio Palomera and José Luis López. The group famous for such Latin hits as "Fue Tan Poco Tu Cariño," "La Quebradita," "Baílame Quebradito" and "El Merecumbre" has also scored on the album charts several times, most prominently with their 1997 album La 4X4.
