Basajan is an experimental quartet from Kabupaten Bandung, Indonesia, blending authentic Sundanese elements with psychedelic grooves in a sound they call Priangan Psychedelic Groove. Inspired by local myths, folklore, and Sundanese traditions, their music transforms cultural memory into modern& immersive soundscapes. In 2025, Basajan made their international debut at Wonderfruit Festival in Thailand, marking an important step in bringing their culture-rooted sound to a global stage while continuing to explore new sonic directions.
