Ben Creighton Griffiths is a touring Jazz and Classical musician based in South Wales, UK. Originally classically trained he is now in increasing demand for his jazz performances, working as both a soloist and with bands, singers, and other artists. His jazz repertoire covers all genres, but with a particular specialism on both gypsy jazz and separately the use of electronics alongside the harp for jazz fusion performances. He has enjoyed touring to teach and perform at Festivals around the world including trips to Brazil, Spain, Netherlands, Hungary, Croatia, Guadeloupe and Martinique, Czech Republic, USA, Ireland, Canada, Hong Kong, and India. Closer to home Ben has performed as a soloist at International and local harp festivals and an ever growing number of jazz and world music festivals including Vale Jazz Festival, Cambridge Jazz Festival, Wall2Wall Jazz Festival, Aberjazz, Llandudno Jazz Festival, and Brecon Jazz Festival. As well as continuing his solo work, Ben is a founding member of jazz fusion group Chube with percussionist Matthew Williams and bassist Aeddan Williams and The Transatlantic Hot Club with Avignon born and New York based gypsy jazz violinist Adrien Chevalier.
