I love this record so much.” • Joe Satriani- “Gordie is one of those players when he picks up the 6 string and plugs it in he makes a kind of magic. Even if you play the same notes it won’t come close. I don’t know how he does it.” • Warren Haynes “I trust GJ’s instincts so much, which is why he is there. From a creative standpoint, he is one of the best I have ever worked with.” • Billy Gibbons, “ZZ Top did a song called ‘I’m Bad, I’m Nationwide’… it could have been written about Big Sugar.”
Big Sugar plays a high-energy blend of blues rock, roots music, and reggae-inflected grooves defined by signature guitar work.
