Lithuanian five-piece formed in June of 2017 after the frontman Donatas Jarutis released a solo debut EP by the name of "5". Taking a fresh direction of post-punk and art-rock blank has been playing all around Lithuania in stages both big and small and featuring in such notable events as FiDi, Novus Music Incubator, Capital Days and other music festivals – both DIY and professional ones. blank has released several DIY music videos, of which “On the Loop” has been nominated in the category of “Best Concept” at the LRT “KlipVid” awards of 2018. In 2019 the band’s biggest step forward manifested as their debut full length album "Black Medicine". Recorded and released completely DIY, the album has received critical acclaim among Lithuanian music reviewers. During 2019 and 2020 the band brought their debut to the biggest cities of Lithuania as well to Riga, Jelgava and Daugavpils in Latvia. On December, 2021 blank released their sophomore album "Identity Fair", an album cementing band's sound of experimental art rock. After a short break, the band reconvened and pivoted to their punk, metal and hardcore tastes with their 2024 EP "Žiurkių Lenktynės".
