BOKKA is one of the most intriguing phenomena on the European alternative scene. Appearing out of nowhere with their debut single Town Of Strangers in 2013, the masked band immediately drew attention - their self-titled album received critical acclaim, including a flattering review from Pitchfork. Since then, BOKKA has built a reputation for cinematic soundscapes and a bold visual identity rooted in mystery and storytelling. The band has performed at major European festivals such as The Great Escape, Reeperbahn, Colours of Ostrava and Eurosonic, earning international recognition and multiple awards for their distinctive music videos - including nominations at Camerimage, SXSW and the Berlin Music Video Awards. Their fifth album White Room (2025) opens a new conceptual chapter inspired by corporate aesthetics, liminal spaces and the eerie calm of modern alienation. With singles like Phantom Sound (feat. NOËP) and Life Is A Game, BOKKA once again redefines the boundaries between sound, image and identity.
